Well this is turning out to be more involved than I had hoped. They STILL have my car. First, they didn't order all of the gaskets. They didn't realize that the three gaskets on each side were sold separately and the dealership that sold them the parts didn't know either or didn't tell them so they only got the larger gasket for each side. By the time the other gaskets showed up the next day, they already had other cars in the bays for other lengthy work like timing belt changes so they didn't have enough time to get my car done. We are on day three now. Luckily, I am on vacation so it isn't too much of a hassle.

What technique have people used to gain access to the driver's side (left, now that I know) valve covers to get them on and off?
