A clogged air filter can degrade performance. Using your logic, I guess we should forgo using those as well?
My 92 wasn't originally fitted with the external filter, it was added later correct? I could be wrong but I thought that was added later to the 92-93 models?
And for wiping backsides, I have 3 kids so I really don't want anymore to wipe!
