Amen. my plastic parts were faded, i saved the window sill pieces by rubbing on tons of wax. like moisturizing it.
Yes to all the parts mentioned... my rust is starting to flake. it bubbles.
my suggestion is if you are not picky,, scrape the rust off and retouch with paint. if its getting worse. repaint!
