hes right, you should not be able to shift the flywheel or pressure plate at all. It should be very firm. I do not believe the bearing should move front to back either. Check to make sure it is the right clutch kit for the car. if it is it could be something else. Also, put the bearing over the input shaft and then install. do not install the tranny onto the bearing.
