No I never have had any problems, with mine, but still plan on replacing mine with one of the bolt together ones, once I run into one cheap enough.
The Legacy has the same length rear section, so finding a bolt together one of those shouldn't be to hard, and you have to have the front half lengthened anyway.
I'd much rather replace universal joint than CV joints
