Hmmm...I have a new spokesperson.
An awd car will have a better launch, but this can be taken out of the equation if the fwd owner uses slicks or sticky rubber.
One interesting thing to point out, in their test results the '94 LS ran the 1/4 mile in 15.61 @ 92.29mph while the awd '92 LS-L ran it in 15.32 @ 90.8mph. The trap speed clearly shows the fwd model is making more power, but the awd model has the 'traction' to run a lower time.
