No, I mean how's the
car start - not the problem.
As for the temp sensor, the SVX has two of them. One is for the ECU and one is for the gauge on the dash. The one for the gauge rarely fails - I've never seen it happen. But the one for the ECU
does, and it causes symptoms similar to those you're describing. It also tends to make the car hard to start eventually.
