In Drive the tranny will shift at about 6K RPM. However, if you put it in 1st gear and leave it there, the tranny will shift at higher RPMs( somewhere near 6500) to prevent over-revving. That may get the SVX closer to that elusive 6.9 second 0-60 times quoted in some of the magazines?!?!?
