clunking
i have an annoying clunking under the front end when i hit small bumps. i figure it's either bad struts, bad control arm bushings, or bad strut mounts. however, it's a different sound on each side. the right does it when i hit a bump (no matter how small, kinda like a rattle) and the left makes a horrible sound when i pull into a driveway makinf a right turn and hitting the bump (kinda like something binding the snapping into place).
does anyone know how i can test my strut mounts? i pulled them out not long ago and there were no signs of wear but that would remain the same with the control arm bushings (not cheap by the way).
any takers?
