I think we can all relate.
Our house is about to go on the market so we can move up to your neighbourhood, so the chances of me being allowed to allocate funds to a spare car are slim, but keep me in mind if you get desperate.
But yes your idea of someone who wants to do the manual conversion makes the most sense.
