Transmission problem

Hi
Are there anyone who have had similar problem.

Last winter I rebuild my trassmission. Checked all parts with care, changed parts with any visible defect, all sealing changed and adjusted gap and clearence to spec. I spent a lot of time to make it perfect.

The first four or five tour it worked good. One day the tranny is slipping from the time I took it from the parking. I had to turn back after a kilometer and drive carefully home. Then it I left it for a day or two. The next time it works ok again, and can work good another five to ten times or more before it slipping again.

To try to sort out the problem a pressure gauge is connected to the oil pump line pressure. But the pressure is ok, in "D" it is 5 kg/cm with closed trottle and about 12,5 kg/cm at fully open trottle. No difference if the transmission is slipping or not.

When the transmission is in 1 gear with level is in "D" it should only be the manual valve that affect the forward clutch exept one way 1/2, 3/4 that are working. What can make the problem when the pressure is ok?

I made a stall test before I left the car today. Rews was 2000 rpm. (littel to low).

Some times it shift gear at higher other times at lower R.P.M with very small trottle opening.
When it shift gear at lower R.P.M the stall test showes lower R.P.M. otherways higher R.P.M. Can the problem come from the torque converter regulator valve?

Have someone ideas about the problem?
