The hose gets very dry and brittle, though not as bad as most of the vac lines. I used a needle nose pliers to carefully push it back off the pcv, then to pull it back onto the new one. it could still crack though.
it goes under the im and the tb to a connector that has 3 nipples on it, I have a pic of its location, but I have removed that connector and put a breather filter there.
