I also remember hearing they flow across the top until the fluid warms up then all the cooling passages conduct - or something along those lines. Thanks Lee. I'll definitely do some research...
I plan on installing my aftermarket trans cooler in series with my stock cooler. I'm not looking for the largest cooler as a result, just something that will 'assist' the stock cooler and help keep operating temps low during the summer months...
