Actually now that I'm drawing it in my head I don't think it would work. The spiral/helix on the pinion is probably reversed due to the angle the steering couple meets the rack at. Darn.

To be honest I think the stock rack is quite nice. If anything you want to decrease the turning circle. My foz has a turning circle about half the svx - would love to do that to svx. I've raced with the 3.7 turn Rs rack, 2.7 wrx / sti and a mate has the 2.2 turn rack - I don't really ever notice a difference. I think if it was for drift or rally then I might, but for hills or track work no.
