I am not sure about the stop leak fix, but do believe that doing it like a closed loop is a good and bad idea. It's smart as it doesn't put that crap into the rest of the system; but bad in that I am under of the impression that heat is involved in the sealing process. It may depend on the product you are going to use as they all can't be the same and therefore all have different operating properties. I think YT has a favorite brand, so PM him about this. I prefer the GM Top End sealer tabs. I think NAPA sells them.
