I am going to double check my diagnosis of the heater core because this looks like as much fun as when my flex plate broke. Thanks for the pdf, I'm going to recheck the lines and hope i just missed one that was leaking. If the core is bad, I'll do the quick bypass fix for now.
What about the stop leak radiator stuff? If i were to put the heater core in its own closed loop and pump the stop leak through it, would that work?
