F.Y.I. I've noticed a guy stripping his SVX (Color Rubby) in Germany and selling his parts on ebay. Not unusual, but GOOD TO KNOW. As SVX parts are not common (at least not in Switzerland), if you are looking for any spares, you write the guy, then he posts the item on ebay for an immediate purchase price and its yours. The reason for my message is because shipping in Europe is not too costly and the one part you have been looking for could be available. If you are interested let me know and I'll give you his e-mail. If your part doesn't weigh too much, its worth it in most cases
I guess he'd ship to the US, but lets face it, you guys have the luxury of finding so many SVX items in the US- I can only envy you. Chris
