These rims and tires for Canadian winter?

Hi all

I've been in conversation with a seller of 18" Murano's wrapped in new Goodyear all seasons here: http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...QAdIdZ27284211

I already have 18"s for the summer, but was wondering how they would differ or handle in a (Canadian) winter compared to stock 16s. My car has Dayle's springs about 2 years old, so some minor sag as well. I will be driving mostly city, but head home once in a while to the countryside...gravel road...rarely plowed...

I have heard conflicting opinions about handling with the larger wheel, and was wondering if anyone can firm this up for me.

Also, I think the price is reasonable on the ad - he was originally asking $1100, he just wants them out of his apartment now (for $760).

Cheers
