nope...
the system has a protection device that prevents the compressor from running enough to prevent sucking air into the system in the event the lo side pressure decreases when the refrigerant leaks out. It can even short cycle the compressor or prevent the compressor clutch from engaging when the refrigeration gas is "all gone"
