And the second half of that is... what can I do with myself to make more money, and yet somehow get more time and energy to actually get out to the garage more than I do now.

Even your plans for yourself rotate around how to make your SVX plans work...

-When "I want to do that to my current car..." becomes "I want another car to do that to, so that I can keep driving this one in the mean time, and as a parts source later."

-When you actually consider selling your newer, technically faster 2005 Legacy GT, to pick up another, pristine SVX, and a slogger Forester or Outback, or whatever... as a backup for the daily SVX, and to keep the pristine SVX pristine and ready for special occasions.

-When you wish that the products Subaru just released would even attempt to hold a candle to a product that Subaru released almost 20 years ago, but the new products don't.

1992 Claret SVX. Rescued from certain destruction, and still on the road, where it belongs. Waiting for a bit of a makeover, when I can afford it.
2005 Garnet Red Pearl Legacy GT Limited 5-speed. - The late great Subaru sport touring sedan.
1999 Classic Red Miata, Preferred equipment package 5-speed. Fun, fun, fun, in the Sun, sun, sun.
