But... The 02 code does not
necessary mean that there is a problem with the 02 sensor. With high miles on the car, I personally would change them both anyway. The easiest way... Raise the hood and Disconnect the wiring to them both, if possible... "up" from sensors follow the wiring to the "quick disconnects... Slip a "big old box end wrench" over the wiring and slide the wrench all the way to the 02 sensor. They can be stubborn with a socket but you can easily win the battle with that "big old box end wrench".
This way is much easier and better than using a socket.
