Adjuster... If it is State Farm, The "adjuster" will total your car and offer you a check for the
fair market value of your car. That
fair market value will be no more than 1/2 the cost of replacing it.
They will offer to let you keep it and charge you a few hundred dollars for keeping
your car. If you agree, they will then
change the amount for keeping your car, stating Gee, that car was worth more than we thought.
Sure hope, for your sake, that it isn't State Farm!
