Hood Strut Replacement

Hey guys, long time no speak. I've been on a field trip with my school to Disneyland and AP tests really got in the way but now school is practically over! Anyway, I am looking to buy a new hood strut from Red SVX 92 and he hinted that I might replace both struts so I don't torque the hood. Should I? Does anyone even have any SVXperience with this? My hood is already torqued a little bit. (the side with the busted strut is higher than the other side, also, the headlight on that side sticks out from the body about 3/16") I had just planned on buying the one but if I need to buy both then I might as well do it and not take the risk of screwing up my hood. The pics of the struts are in Red SVX 92's locker if you want to take a look at them. They have stickers on them that are unfamillar to me and they also look a bit red. (Red SVX I assume) Oh well, I'll probably just end up getting both.
