A word on the trans flush: If he uses a flush MACHINE, (hooks up to the cooler lines, dirty fluid comes out one line, clean fluid fed into the other line) that will get all the old fluid out, and you won't need to do it again after 5,000 miles. If he is just draining the transmission pan and then filling it again, that won't get all the old fluid out, as previously mentioned.
