Hey, I just had a new radiator, tranny cooler, and filter kit put in...Turns out my car already had the recall filter kit installed, but I already had paid my $10, so I put the new one in..my car has 126,000 miles on it...and I haven't had it long, but it shifts pretty good, and I think it is the original tranny...So I'm thinking maybe these filter kits really do extend the life of the tranny? I wonder if anyone else has a good number of miles on the car, and still are on their first tranny? Just a thought, but maybe a good purchase for everyone who doesn't have one...
