I am looking for a specific diagram/words that says that you have to unplug the transaxel wiring harness (mainly O2 sensor and ground tranny cable) is one of the steps you have to take to remove the tranny housing on the SVX. I have documention saying that for all other vehicles (justy, Loyal, Legacy etc, ) but no mention on 4 spd auto tranny in my book.

Yes you have to disconnect the two harnesses on top of the tranny, 2 O2 sensors, speed sensor 1, and the ground wire. Also the starter assembly, lower ball joints, Axle shafts, exhaust system, heat shields, rear drive shaft, performance rod, and then you can unbolt it and remove it.

Oy! it is a lot of work, trust me, but it can be done in the home garage, it's just not easy.
