>Does anyone know if the Australian SVX cars have this power light? I have only owned mine for a couple for months and haven't noticed any such light.... <

Hi Pete good to see you got your wheels. Mine is a 95 mod and has the green power light, on the right hand side of the check engine light just below the "9" on the taco. Turn the ignition on without starting the engine, the light should be on, goes off when the motor runs.
There is a sensor that checks the speed of throttle opening and signals the computer to go to power mode. Try running at 100k, (60mph) then flooring the pedal quickly, it should come on as the trans goes back to 3rd and you head towards warp speed.
Enjoy it Pete it's a great car.
Harvey.
