You would actually expect a drop, because the engine is now revving more for the same speed than it was before. However if much of your miles included highway, then for a long top gear run you should be in the 20-22 range, down the shops maybe 18. Maybe you are using the right foot a little more with the sporty gearbox ratios?

the poor gas mileage started about 2 months ago. My 4.44 swap was last May. With the 4.44 I got between 20 and 25 depending on city or highway.
