The performance of that Autoweek Justy does not impress me. I think it should be capable of more. I don't really understand why they destroked it down to 1 litre - surely that's shooting themselves in the foot?
We could make the speedo needle of our Justy hit the end stop (110mph). Even allowing for speedo inaccuracy, that's 100mph.
That 3 cylinder is a cracking little engine and the Justy is a superb autotest machine. Our Justy is no longer roadworthy, but we are keeping it in the hope of one day restoring it.
