Having been there, I am in disagreement on this one. see my original post and photos HERE
AS cozykat puts it, "The '97 grille doesn't really impress me. I find it makes the front of the SVX look like 99.9% of the cars out there... old or new.. Toyota.. Honda.. Ford.. Nissan.. leaving really only the windows to set them apart.
The waterfall grille only has one vehicle which it can be compared to, the Mercury, which doesn't even come close to smooth, contoured design the stock headlights combined with the waterfall grille create.
I think the '97 does look nice (and is more of a must if you clear the lenses since the lens of the waterfall grille will no longer match) but the '97 grille doesn't make the car look modern - it just makes it blend into the crowd better."
