I have no Idea. Possible guesses: PS pump going south to get warm, Air filter loaded up with a scarf for preheating, one of the many air hoses is disconnected from the main 3" large black air inlet pipe, really bad intake manifold vacuum leak.

If you don't mind. What's "brody in some water" mean?
