I am back in the real world now (working) after a fine weekend spent with great people and wonderful cars. The weather on Friday was pretty miserable and at that time not looking much better for Saturday. Luckily we awoke to sunshine and by noon it was almost 65 degrees out with a slight breeze. It couldn't have been a better day. I would like to extend a warm thanks to all those who organised the meet and also to all those in attendance whom I met for the first time. It's a rare occassion when you can be surrounded by so many people and not encounter a bad banana in the bunch and this was one of those occasions. It was awesome to place a face with the name but looking back on it the confusion changes to trying to remember a name to go with the face. (especially when you are bad at names like I am). I think we should all place a picture of ourselves in out personal lockers so we can refresh ourselves. Those who have been to many meets know each other well but for the rest of us for whom this was our first meet it was quite an experience. Some of you looked as I had expected but others looked nothing like I had imagined. For one thing, Randy looks a lot younger in person than he does in pictures.

Spent the later part of Friday evening in front of the hotel with Harry and Ron (and Ron's box-o-wine) chatting and smoking cigars until it was time to retire. You couldn't meet two nicer people than those two (just have to say that most others at the meet were just as nice though ).

Saturday was spent mingling, drinking beer, learning how to clean my throttle body (thanks Todd!), smoking cigars, having my cruise control fixed (yeah!), drinking more beer, mingling some more, smoking cigars, checking out some truly fine rides and sweet mods, mingling, drinking more beer, eating good food at dinner, and spending the remainder of last night mingling, smoking cigars, and drinking beer. All in alll a very rewarding weekend!

John, Matt & Kelli...now that we've gotten to be friends and realised how close we all live from each other, I look forward to getting together more often. Functions like this are all about the friendships you make!

I had to head home last night since I had to be at work this morning at 8am. I left the party in Lancaster at 11:30 and rolled into my driveway in Bethlehem at 12:35. Not bad time if I do say so myself (1:05) It was a lovely, carefree ride in a car that I love all the more since yesterday. Ahh...what a day. Just want to take a moment and say thanks to those who were not outside when I left and I did not get a chance to say goodbye to personally. I might have missed you when I left but I have not forgotten you.

May everyone enjoy a safe, ticket free ride home today. God Bless you all!

It's time to wrap this up due to my burning and tearing eyes (not due to emotional overload but due to the eye watering, throat choking beer farts I awoke with this morning). Thank God this place is empty on Sunday!
