We'd all like that to happen, and I suppose it could , but it isn't likely.

Basically, low numbers is all it has going for it on the collector scene.

1. You'd need a heavy (someone of renown) to have owned one and kept it pristine.

2. They are drivers' cars. They were cheap enough (yeah, I know. To whom ?) when new to actually take out and use, and use, and use up. Although there are low-mileage SVX's out there, there probably aren't enough of them to make much of an impact on the collector scene. Consequently -

3. They just didn't have a big enough price tag to attract said heavy's in the first place.

All that being said, things aren't always that predictable.
