But not quite.

Larry, the SVX has one thing going for it in the collectors sense, low volume sales. Exclusivity always bestows collectability eventually, but it could be a long time.

I would place the SVX in a similar category to the NSU RO80, the original rotary engined car. These were unloved when new [strange coincidence, by unusual breakdown prone transmission ] but have a number of clubs at present, and are cared for. Another car similar in marketing terms would be the Fiat 130 Coupe of the seventies. Lots of people like these.

I can see them being a collectible car with classic status, but we are talking 30+ years in the future.
