So I gather from your photos, if I were to use the AR25 as a precat, I would have to fab up a flanged pipe from the header to the resonator, then into the main cat. from there, out to 2 pipes into the glass packs, then stock tips welded onto the cherry bomb. Sound about right? |
The AR25's are too big to use as a pre-cat. They have a 2.5" inlet and outlet. Use the AR20 instead. A 2" header pipe is an "upgrade" since the stock header pipes are about 1 3/4" anyway (svxfiles has the exact measurements on this)
You also need that same 2 " pipe that exits the AR20's to go into the new Magnaflow main cat.
