Here in Ireland or England we would tend to say you had a damaged or broken CV drive. In the USA they might say you have a busted axle. In Australia, who knows? They would probably say the bastard front axles gone walkabout.

I don't know for sure if Legacy front axles would work for you as a replacement. They might. If so they would be cheaper and easier to find.
