Re: new svx owner in france ^^

Hi Naru

Your car looks really nice and looks to be in good condition.

You should buy your timing belts and accessory belts in the USA because they will be much cheaper than in France.

If you can describe accurately exactly what is the symptom with your "dead" front axles then it is highly likely that some technical SVX owner can give you a good idea what will be needed to repair the gearbox [or repair the axles]

{I do appreciate the conversion between French and English has subtle difficulties}

Remember, as far as we know the Subaru SVX in France has exactly the same type of gearbox that the USA cars were fitted with, the ACT4 gearbox. This is relatively good news for you because there is a wealth of information on the Network about the USA style gearbox. Can you describe precisely what is wrong with your front axles?

Joe
