SVX Babble
I have had my SVX almost a year now , drive it to work on dry days , still impressed with it. For a car that sat literally 3 1/2 to 4 years , I think I lucked out . About 1600 miles so far .Used cheap semi-metallic pads to clean the rusty rotors, after 3 oil changes , the engine fairly quiet ( I think I had a sticky lifter ) . Premium Sunoco , FI cleaner each fill , 2 fuel filters , seems to run well . Still needs lots of work , and at the point where I have to decide if I want a good driver, or over spend on all the cosmetics. Question for anyone- this car was originally FWD, converted to AWD ( have binding issues , but can avoid much of that by taking longer turn arches ) question : does not seem to want to rev higher than 4500 rpm or so , and I have not wanted to force the issue. Has the 4:41 gears . My normal driving , I not anywhere near redline . Just curious if this engine likes to rev.
