Okay, you haven't said so yet, but I'm guessing that you have a '94 or later SVX.

Anyway, if you're seeing higher top speeds than the limiter is supposed to allow, I would guess one of two things:

1. Your ECU isn't the one that came with the car.

2. Your speedometer is overestimating by the suggested 10% and you're not really going as fast as the car says you are.

3. We're wrong about the speed limiting.

Again, I have only tested the speedometer's accuracy up to about 110mph. It is possible that it overestimates - intentionally or not - at higher speeds.
