Not as much fun, but, I flew in to LaGuardia to pick up my second SVX. It was on L'ng Island. Peter (the previous owner) was a most gracious host, however. It was a long drive home from NY to KY, with an additional 2 hours to cross the GW (this was Aug 3, 2002 -- security was still tight). It is awfully fun to make a long distance solo drive in the SVX.
Earl, if it were a weekend, I might try to make it to KC to see you (7-8 hours away), but, alas.
