i got my car back today
drove it to and from work
using the manual shift, i can go from 1st to 2nd,, not third, wont find it. and thats it
using normal 'drive', it sits in 1st. and gets to 2nd, thats it, but very unreliable in 2nd..
when i stopped, the car smelt bad, like oil bad...
last week when it died, my nose was blocked by a bad cold, and could smell nothing, this smelled a fair bit
anyways. im going to clean up the engine bay, work out how to get this 1/2 cut from brisbane down to vic, and then organise a mechanic to swap them over.
not sure what to do with the current transmission, whether its worth fixing & selling, or what? i jsut dunno
sigh, its good to have the car back though..
