My SVXi only get 12-13mpg in town due to this hilly town. However, highway miles is about same as yours.
No way, you can save $10-15K off a used 1 yr old Japanese cars!! Japanese compact cars such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan even Mazda, no way you can save that much! Even Korean cars such as Hyundai, Kia, no way!! They're all getting better, reliable, good on gas, hold up resale real well! You can't even save that much if you get a salvage title Subcompact such as Fit or Yaris or Prius!
