I am currently working as a tech for a medical company in Minneapolis, MN. I make heart valves for people. It pays ok at 18hr, but the bennies are kick @ss. I pay 12.50 per month for medical, dental, eye, and perscription. That is as a single. rate, family would be a whopping 65.00 per month.
I was also a vol fire fighter. Did that for over 8 years in PA. No such luck here in MN. They have this stupid "paid on call" crap and only let 15 people at a time on the roster. I have to wait for someone to move or leave before they will let me join. It sucks.
My new second job it taking care of my 92 SVX. I love that job!!!
