On the EVO : STi thing.... I think that an EVO is a slightly better track car. However I would take the STi over the EVO because I enjoyed driving it more than the EVO. The EVO was a freaking rocket in the mountians (The Dragon). It was really tail happy for a AWD car. Handled great. Not all that much power below ~3,500rpms... But as soon as that turbo spooled up to that amazing 19psi, it was all go!!! And I loved the RECARO's!!! Awesome seats with great support for "Dragon Driving"

The STi however, just seemed alittle "Less on crack". More driveable. I love the transmission!!! The way it feels on the limit is alot more "relaxed" than the EVO, which feels like it requries your 100% attention. The STi also had seamless power. Great turbo spool up. And that awesome Boxer 4 sound .... Haven't had the chance to take an STi on the Dragon yet, but really hope that I can soon. Just took the STi around the back roads here in Beaufort.

Like I said, after having been in both, I would definitly take the STi over the EVO.... Don't get me wrong though (for you EVO lovers out there) I would love to have an EVO.

But for me STi > EVO.... Plus, it's a subaru... It's gonne always be better
