Mmmm, FEM is fun! Threw a quick model of a tubular subframe together and applied some forces. What would be a realistic lateral force through the wheels during a corner? I've got it set to total overkill right now, 1000 lbs though each outside lateral link and 500 lbs through each inside one. I don't think the rear wheels are capable of generating 3000 lbs of cornering force. But hey, factor of safety, right?
