The tranny in our '97 SVX has always performed great since day one.

The tranny in my 92 SVX has performed great since I bought it. Then the droping (is it dropping or dopping) resisitor died. The shifts started to slam after that when the fluid was cold. Backing out of my driveway each morning, then shifting to 3 meant a kick in the back and a lurch. When the ATF warmed up the shifts became snappy.
I put in a new resistor & the shifting is smooth as slik. It is what I consider normal for the SVX.
I now notice that the SVX is dripping ATF. I use synth. ATF so I need to find the leak.
