I haven't used the live chat on the network for years, so I don't remember if there is some trick to get it to work or if things have even changed since the last time I used it.
I click on the "Live Chat" button
It goes to another screen (
www.subaru-svx.net/irc/) where you can type in your nickname for the chat room and which room to enter. I leave it on the default rooom "#svx" and don't change anything other than my nickname
The only button on this page is "Push to start", which I do...
After a short pause, a new window opens up that looks like a chat window. It says:
Connecting to irc.subaru-svx.net:6667
Waiting for server to respond...
Connection closed.
That's it! No one listed in the lefthand "audience" column either.
I have this same situation occur on 3 different computers, including a couple at home.
