I'm not sure what's going on with the cage at the moment. Its possible that the engine builder may just focus on that this year and not bumping our hp to around 300.

Ben,
I'm trying to find where in the rules it says anything about whether you can "tune" (i.e., tweak the ECU) a prepared car. I can definitely interpret the following to mean that you can:
17.9 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
A. The use of any driver operated electric starter is permitted.
B.
The use of any ignition system (except magneto ignition) is permitted,
provided the number of spark plugs remains the same as that
of the standard production engine. If a distributor is removed, a
blanking plate or breather may be fitted in its place.
C. The original generator or alternator may be completely removed
or replaced. Mounting location and drive system for the generator
or alternator is unrestricted.
D.
The remaining components of the electrical system are unrestricted.
E. It is recommended that all vehicles be equipped with an electrical
system master cutoff switch.
"any ignition system" doesn't appear to have any limits placed on it
So, can I tell Sean that he doesn't need to worry about welding up a roll cage for the Racer?
