It looks to me like the door strike is just set out too far.

On the door jamb, there is that little metal knub with the two phillips screws, loosen them and slide the catch about 1/8" back and tighten. See if the door fits better, if not, move it back another 1/8".

You may want to tape the catch to the body because it will move around very easily. DO NOT take the screws out. they only need to be loosened a little.

The catch slides in any direction so be careful you don't move it up or down or it will be hard to shut the door.
