On the VIN plate the option code includes a 'C', for example, the most basic Version E would have the option code AXC or AYC if it was 2 tone silver.

The JDM specifications sheet shows the above option codes. However, the VIN plate for JDM models always adds a 'C' at the end of the option code for all Version E and Version L models.

The trim codes in brackets above are for the 2 tone silver and the VIN plate adds an additional 'C'.

Thanks for clarifying that Paul. I misunderstood the last line of your original post.

So a bog standard black [Ebony] SVX Version E with no available options other than the standard Climate Control would be CXWA23E-AX, and will show AXC on the VIN plate?

And a bog standard silver [Liquid Silver] SVX Version E with no available options other than the standard Climate Control will be CXWA23E-AX, and will have AXC on the VIN plate.

And lastly, a bog standard silver 3-tone [ you perceive the silver and grey as two tone silver ] {Liquid Silver over Mid Grey} SVX Version E with no available options other than the standard Climate Control and the optional mid grey lower panels will be CXWA23E-AY and show AYC on the VIN panel.
